Twenty years of production engineering, and now agents write most of the code. You get a team’s pace with my name on it.

American Airlines

01 / 13

The airline’s flagship iOS app. The home screen leads with AAdvantage status, miles and Loyalty Points, then the next trip as a card you can act on. Booking covers round trip, one way and multi city, with cars, hotels, vacations and cruises behind the same search. Worked on through Five Pack Creative, the agency that staffed the account.

Underdog

Senior iOS engineer on the Fantasy app, 1.6M monthly users. I shipped Weekly Winners, rebuilt signup and onboarding, and drove Champions Picks, the location based Pick’em pools that opened the product to audiences the main game could not serve. Also the KYC verification and deposit flows, in-app alerts, Pick’em promos, and the first real test suite the app had, building up test coverage from starting at zero.

Fuel discounts · Navigation

Mudflap

03 / 13

Diesel discounts for owner operators and small fleets. The map prices every truck stop around you, 3,600 of them, so a driver can see what a fill-up actually costs before committing to the exit. Navigation is truck-safe, routing around low bridges, weight limits and restricted roads rather than handing a semi a car's route.

Dick’s Sporting Goods

I built Latest Launches, a new product surface driven by remote config so merchandising can change what it shows without shipping a release, and the Preference Center that captures brand, size and color so the storefront has something real to personalize against. Also the Apple Fitness+ offer integration, and the test suites behind both.

Lead iOS engineer across both sides of the marketplace, the shopper app and LTK Creator, 30M+ monthly shoppers. Spacelift

Renovation planning for people who do not yet know what their project involves. You walk the space on video, the app turns that walkthrough into a scope of work and a ballpark cost range broken out line by line, and when you are ready to hire it books a call with a vetted general contractor in your area.

The parent side of Gabb’s kid phones and watches. Campus delivery · Food & Drink

Duffl

10 / 13

I built this one from the ground up and launched it in the US App Store. Fast delivery for college campuses, 10am to 1am, 5k daily users. Store pages, product listings and store switching, the Category Quick Find slider, and Duffl Rank, a gamified loyalty tier built to hold onto customers. Fourteen feature initiatives with product and UX. Coverage went 0 to 80 percent and customer facing bugs fell 20 percent.

Buildertrend

11 / 13

Project management for home builders and remodelers, on the phone that is already in the contractor’s pocket on site. QuickTutor

12 / 13

A two-sided marketplace for teaching anything: learners browse subjects from physics to dog training, and anyone with a skill can list themselves and get paid for it. A session runs in person or as an in-app video call, so the tutor and the whiteboard arrive on the same screen, with messaging, scheduling and payments behind it.

Gas Monitor Simulator

13 / 13

Hazardous-gas training without the hazardous gas. The student’s phone becomes a four-gas meter reading CO, H₂S, oxygen and LEL, and the trainer drives those numbers wirelessly from another device — raising a reading until the alarms fire, pushing a question or a gas fact mid-exercise, and watching whether the student reads the meter correctly under pressure.

Meeting notes · iOS companion

Boswell for iOS

Not shipped01 / 03

The iOS companion to the Mac app. Notes and the next few meetings sit on one screen, recording keeps transcribing with the phone locked, and the ask surface queries everything you have ever recorded rather than just the note in front of you. Designed and built, never released. Boswell went on hiatus before it shipped, so what is here is the design work and the iOS target, not an App Store listing.

A weight tracker that does one thing and never asks you to make an account. Log a number, see the trend line smooth out the daily noise, watch the gap to your goal close. No servers, no ads, no tracking. Entries live on your device and sync through your own iCloud. It reads and writes Apple Health, so it works with the scale you already own.

Websites

Thrash cassette label · isaacsaults.com

Isaac Saults

01 / 05

A bootleg tape label built as a website: 4-track thrash demos dubbed by hand and traded, never sold. The archive runs IS-001 to IS-006, each with its own hand-cut J-card, generation and trade status — send two blanks and postage, get two back. The riff on the homepage is not an audio file; it is synthesized in the browser when you press play.

Sourdough bakery · Cedar Park

Malu's Bakery

02 / 05

A sourdough bakery site for a hand-baked, one-bake-a-week operation in Cedar Park. The weekly cadence is built in: orders close Monday at 8pm, baking happens Wednesday morning, then pickup or local delivery. The menu carries per-item pricing across artisan loaves, a freshly milled flour sandwich loaf, and focaccia in two sizes. The running total updates as you pick, and the flow ends in an order form.

Mac app marketing · Waitlist

Boswell

03 / 05

The marketing site for Boswell, a Mac app that records and transcribes meetings. Its positioning sits right on the page: the AI notepad that helps you stay focused. Notes without a meeting bot. The site carries a features section, a blog, and a teams section covering volume licensing and centralized billing, and every path on it ends at the same place: the waitlist signup.

Seasonal storytelling · WordPress

Snowball the Elf

04 / 05

A Christmas site for a pair of house elves who get into things. A post lands for each day of December, picking up wherever the last piece of mischief left off, so a family reads it as a running serial rather than a set of one-offs. Fun, mischief, puzzles and prizes is the site’s own summary of itself, and the archive keeps the whole season in one place.

Student lending · Skills-based education

Meritize

05 / 05

Financing for students in skills-based programs rather than four year degrees. The site splits its two audiences at the top, students looking to fund a program and schools looking to offer financing to their own, and the whole argument sits in one line on the homepage: you are more than your credit score.

About

Most of my career has gone into shipping apps at that scale. Real users, real deadlines, and real consequences when a call I made three years ago turns out to be wrong. That's where the judgment came from.

Now I work with agents. They write the volume, I stay responsible for what's correct. Getting a model to produce code is the easy part. The work is in the guardrails, the review passes, and the taste that decide which of it survives.

That's why the two apps above exist. Both built solo, start to App Store, in weeks. Twenty years ago that scope was a team and a quarter.

I still care about the same things: clean seams between modules, code the next person can read, a UI that doesn't fight its platform. Speed without those gets you a bigger mess, sooner.
